Why do I need to provide my credit/debit card when I book my appointment?
All photography experiences with Bartley Studios require a credit or credit card number in order to secure the booking time with us.
Being a small independent studio, aiming to deliver an excellent service and quality product to only a handful of clients each week, we have a very limited availability for our premium appointment times.
We therefore require at least 5 days notice should you wish to change your appointment time with us, otherwise an automatic £25 cancellation/rescheduling charge will be made to your debit/credit card.
How much do Bartley Portraits cost?
We believe in producing and supplying quality framed portraits, produced properly and ready to look fantastic on your walls. Every product produced is hand made in our laboratory bespoke to each order.
Our Table Top frames start individually at £85 and go up to £145 for our largest in a choice of colours.
Our individual Wall Art starts at £195 up to £795 for something enormous! Our multi-image Collections start from £495 and go up to £975.
Most of our customers invest between £500 and £1200 but we do have something to suit all budgets along with various payment options.
Do you have any packages or offers if I buy several images?
If you have purchased one of our Experience Portrait Vouchers then you will automatically have £100 credit towards any of our wall hanging portraits… Now that’s a great starting point!
But that’s not all, once you have purchased your first wall portrait, you will then qualify for Buy One Get One FREE on all further wall portraits! See our Products and Prices page for more information.
Do you offer ways to spread the cost?
Absolutely. Many clients choose to ‘spread the cost’ of their portraits through our chosen finance provider Novuna Personal Finance which allows you to pay the investment off over a 6 to 48 month period with both interest bearing and 0% interest available.
We are also happy to offer ‘in-house’ payment option to enable you to maximise our special offers with no interest charges – typically with just a 20% deposit being taken at the viewing itself. No credit checks required and payments are set up at a frequency of your choice via Direct Debit. Bank details are required to set up this option. Products are produced once all payments have been made.
Can we buy digital copies of the images?
We believe in providing stunning portraiture for your walls, however digital options are a hugely popular request for displaying on your home computers, social media, TV and for printing smaller images yourself.
The most popular option is to purchase a USB with all of your show images for £350 once you have purchased £750 or more on any of our other products. However, we do offer the USB as a stand-alone price starting from £750 by itself.
We also offer options to purchase single files separately and the price of these is dependant on the number of images you would like.
How long do appointments take?
We usually allow up to 1 ½ hours for both photoshoot sessions and viewing consultations and recommend that if you are parking close by on a pay and display to allow for over 2 hours just in case.
Can we bring our pets to the photoshoot?
Of course! Providing they can go up and down stairs then they are welcome! We photograph a huge number of pets at the studio and we’re not just talking about cats and dogs, we’ve had snakes, skunks, and snails to name just a few!
The important factor is just to let us know this at the time of your booking as we always want to ensure there is time after your shoot to clean the studio thoroughly for the next clients.
What should we wear for our photoshoot?
Clothing choices can make a huge impact on the final images. Our photographers will always be happy to discuss ideas and choices with you beforehand over the phone with you, along with discussing it with you at the time of the photoshoot.
What personal items should I bring along to the photoshoot?
We’re big believers in personalising your photoshoot by bringing items that mean something to you and your family. In many instances, it tells your story and helps to create truly unique images.
Our team will be happy to discuss this with you prior to your photoshoot to give you inspiration!
How long does it take to receive my images once ordered?
Generally, it takes around 6 weeks for an order to be artworked, approved, printed, framed, dispatched to us, and then checked. In certain circumstances, orders can be quicker than this so please contact us if you have any specific requirements.
Do you provide a corporate headshot or business portrait service?
We certainly do! You may be looking for business headshots for a LinkedIn Profile, a company website, business cards or branding elements. Whichever your requirement, professional images will make a huge impact and we would be happy to be part of it.
