All of our vouchers include the studio photoshoot (or two photoshoots in the case of the maternity voucher), creative editing by your photographer, a framed tabletop portrait AND £100 credit towards any of our wall products (which start from £195)
If you are wishing to purchase an experience as a gift for someone, such as a colleague leaving on maternity or for a baby shower etc, this can be easily arranged and we also include a lovely gift box as part of the offer. If you wish to add additional money towards any of our offers, to give the recipient a larger value of spend, we can also arrange this with one of our custom value vouchers.
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO BOOK MY PHOTOSHOOT?
First of all, we recommend that you purchase one of our experience vouchers. It is at this point, we will ensure that you are on our client system, have your expected due date, and it will have given us the opportunity to have an initial chat with you to run through how everything works to get you all prepared!
If your baby arrives earlier than planned, it is not a problem, just let us know asap and we will endeavor to find a suitable time for your shoot.
For newborn shoots, we always suggest that these are best taking place on a weekday where we can allocate more time to the shoot. This is often necessary in order to feed your baby, wind, change, and settle them to get the very best shots. It’s also a time that often coincides with paternity leave which is ideal!
DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?
No, we don’t require a deposit, however, at the time of the booking, all photography experiences with Bartley Studios require a credit or credit card number in order to secure the appointment time.
Being a small independent studio, aiming to deliver an excellent service and quality product to only a handful of clients each week, we have very limited availability for our premium appointment times.
We therefore require at least 5 days notice should you wish to change your appointment time with us, otherwise, an automatic £25 cancellation/rescheduling charge will be made to your debit/credit card.
HOW MUCH DO BARTLEY PORTRAITS COST?
We believe in producing and supplying quality framed portraits, produced properly and ready to look fantastic on your walls. Every product produced is hand made in our laboratory bespoke to each order.

I DON’T LIKE MYSELF IN PHOTO’S, DO I NEED TO BE IN THEM?
We can totally understand how, so soon after having a baby, you may not be feeling your absolute best, it’s completely normal. However, this is truly a once in a lifetime occasion to capture some truly beautiful images of you with your precious and newest family addition. Our photographers use the most flattering and creative lighting to ensure you will look your best so it’s important that you do not miss this opportunity, you will thank us afterward we promise!
CAN OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS TAKE PART TOO?
Absolutely. Capturing those emotional shots of your newest family member with their proud brother or sister, or of course with the gleaming grandparents or great grandparents is an opportunity not to miss!
DO YOU OFFER WAYS TO SPREAD THE COST?
Yes, many clients choose to ‘spread the cost’ of their portraits through our chosen finance provider Hitachi Capital which allows you to pay the investment off over a 6 to 48 month period with 0% interest available.
We are also happy to offer ‘in house’ payment option to enable you to maximise our special offers with no interest charges – typically with just a 20% deposit being taken at the viewing itself. No credit checks required and payments are set up at a frequency of your choice via Direct Debit. Bank details are required to set up this option.
WHAT AREAS DO YOU COVER?
Our studio is based on Horsemarket Street, the pedestrian high street in Warrington, Cheshire. We are easily accessible from the M6, M62 & M56 and regularly see clients visiting us from across the North-West and sometimes even further afield! Clients often choose to visit us from Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, Wigan, St Helens, Widnes, Bolton, Knutsford, Frodsham, Northwich & Altrincham. We are also just a 2-minute walk from Warrington Central Railway Station.
DO WE NEED TO BRING ANYTHING TO THE PHOTOSHOOT?
We have various posing bowls, wraps, blankets, and accessories at the studio. However, we always love to find ways to completely personalise your shots, this usually involves incorporating personal items into the shoot that have a strong connection to the parents or family. Perhaps granny has knitted a woolen blanket, the first teddy they had bought for them when they were born, items that reflect their name… There are so many ways we can make your shots unique and this is something that we will chat with you beforehand to help with ideas.
Outfit wise, we advise bringing a couple of changes for yourselves, avoiding bold patterns or branding, some dark and some lighter tones. We love to photograph babies, just wearing their nappies, snuggled up in blankets.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE OUR PORTRAITS ONCE ORDERED?
Generally, it takes around 6 weeks for an order to be artworked, approved, printed, framed, dispatched to us, and then checked. In certain circumstances, orders can be quicker than this so please contact us if you have any specific requirements.
