PART-TIME VIEWING CONSULTANT & BOOKINGS ADVISOR

 

3-4 days per week, including weekends

Bartley Portrait Studios is looking for a confident, personable and detail-focused individual to join our friendly, established team in this newly created part-time role.

This position combines two key areas of our business. Guiding families through their portrait viewing experience in our dedicated viewing room, and handling incoming bookings and enquiries over the phone. It is an ideal role for someone who loves working with people, has a natural ability to explain and recommend products, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience from start to finish.

Bartley Portrait Studios is a long-established, award-winning family portrait studio based in Warrington. For over 20 years, we have specialised in creating beautiful, timeless portraits for families at all stages of life, from newborns and children through to multi-generation family portraits.

We are known for our warm, personal approach and our high-quality finished artwork, with framed wall portraits designed to be enjoyed in our clients’ homes for generations. Every experience we offer is carefully considered, unhurried and tailored to each family.

Due to continued growth, we are excited to introduce this new role for a true people person who enjoys building rapport, understanding clients’ needs and helping them make confident decisions.

The Role

Working closely with our photography and studio team, you will host pre-booked viewing appointments with our clients. These appointments include a beautifully presented slideshow of their portraits, followed by a one-to-one consultation where you help them choose the artwork and products that best suit their home, style and budget.

No two viewings are the same. Each family, home and set of images is different, making this a varied and engaging role. You will be describing products, offering guidance on wall displays and layouts, and helping clients feel excited and comfortable with their final choices. Alongside this, you will also handle phone enquiries and bookings, ensuring every interaction reflects the high standards of our studio.

This role blends personalised face-to-face sales with customer care and a touch of interior styling advice.

 

Salary and bonuses

Salary and bonus structure will be discussed and agreed based on relevant experience and skill set.

 

The ideal candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience in a customer service or sales-focused role

  • Demonstrates outstanding customer service skills

  • Is confident, articulate and friendly both face-to-face and over the phone

  • Has a clear, warm telephone manner

  • Is positive, enthusiastic and well presented

  • Has good persuasion and negotiation skills, without being pushy

  • Is comfortable with basic maths, IT systems and administration

  • Has an interest in creative industries such as photography, interiors or design
